THE POSITION: As a specialist agency focusing exclusively on technical SEO for eCommerce it is imperative that we partner with the correct type of SME’s that want to organically grow their eCommerce business using their website. We have a growing UK client base and are poised to scale our new business and account management teams, by significantly increasing our client portfolio in 2023. If you make the right impact and prove you have a positive attitude, and aptitude to grow a small new business team around you, then we could help carve out a career for you at Megantic UK. Therefore, we need a dedicated and resourceful person with 3-5 years B2B new business acquisition experience. Ideally in digital marketing (desirable) to help scale our UK market presence and new business wins. This role is primarily responsible for growing a healthy pipeline of new business clients. So it is extremely important for us that you have strong new business experience; from sourcing your own leads, setting appointments/meetings, presentation, conducting business meetings and closing sales. If you have HubSpot CRM experience then this will be a bonus! KEY OBJECTIVES OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:
Growing new business client base
Generating new sales meetings with prospective clients
Identify, develop and manage new business opportunities
Working closely with the Commercial Director, eventually create and lead your own sales team
Provide detailed reports on the progress made against new business objectives
To attend and where required, present at new business meetings either individually or alongside the Commercial Director
ATTITUDE YOU’LL NEED
A curious, yet humble mindset combined with a proactive, self-sufficient and tenacious attitude to self-generating leads
The ability to immediately yet effortlessly build rapport with different businesses and stakeholders in order to secure meetings and close sales orders

WHO WOULD BE THE RIGHT FIT: We are looking for a switched on, great communicator who knows how to consult and strategise with SME business owners and leaders. The ideal candidate will have previous new business B2B sales experience and need to be highly passionate and ethical. They need to be able to problem solve and influence outcomes independently and take a long term business view:
Clear, confident communicator, a natural collaborator
Ability to influence decision makers, think strategically and laterally to consult on outcomes
A personal drive for success who can build rapport and deliver sales outcomes
Preference for 2+ years experience in digital marketing space
Proven experience in a business development role is highly desirable
