ROLE OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated Business Development Executive that is passionate about helping SME business owners and key stakeholders in the eCommerce space. You will be required to analyse eCommerce (websites) businesses and their competitors. You will learn how to establish new growth opportunities for an eCommerce business, then call prospects to book them into a meeting with our Business Development Manager. In short, you will be offering Megantic’s robust data-driven sales acquisition strategy, so businesses reach their next level of potential.

We are looking for a proactive, task focused organiser, who excels at connecting with people on the phone, and is keen to make a positive mark within the company! You will be encouraged to think strategically and apply your thinking to your work, the work of others and support Megantic’s continued growth.

DAY TO DAY TASKS:

  • Generating new leads through cold calling and email using our CRM (Hubspot).
  • Building rapport and nurturing prospects (including identifying their needs and suggesting appropriate products/services).
  • Managing and maintaining a pipeline of interested prospects and engaged decision makers.
  • Writing and sending analysis emails to prospects (based on data from various tools).
  • Setting up meetings between the prospect and Business Development Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Exceptional phone manner and able to confidently build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to tell compelling stories and engage your prospect verbally and in a written format (via email)
  • A customer first attitude of patience, understanding and empathy.
  • Basic understanding of G-Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc).
  • Organised, able to work both autonomously and in a team, a multitasker and strategic thinker.
