With offices worldwide and a growing UK presence, Megantic UK is quickly expanding and on the lookout for an ambitious individual to join our team as a Junior SEO Account Executive. This position is ideal for someone in the early stages of their digital marketing journey, or, for someone with a passion for technical SEO, eCommerce and data. Your day-to-day will be made up of investigating and implementing a multitude of technical SEO strategies to assist our clients in their eCommerce growth and performance. You should have an understanding of and a keen interest to learn more about eCommerce platforms on a technical level, web analytics, data and SEO to grow the commercial presence of our clients. Your role will be to support the SEO Project Management team in successfully implementing holistic SEO strategies to successfully grow our client’s websites. RESPONSIBILITIES The following duties may occur in your day-to-today, but what we value the most is a self-sufficient team player with a can-do attitude that will get stuck and push our projects forward.
Audit and analyse client’s SEO performance, identify issues, find root-causes, recommend fixes, and experiment with solutions to improve performance.
Use data from a number of sources to evaluate the effectiveness of SEO initiatives and provide recommendations for improvements in e-commerce, technical SEO, and conversion rate optimisation.
Conduct detailed technical audits of websites to determine the overall health of the website and what technical elements might be hindering performance.
Create and maintain weekly/monthly dashboards and reports, and identify key insights to inform future SEO strategies.
Manage SEO initiatives including site architecture, keyword research/analysis, content creation and link‐building to optimise search engine rankings.
Work closely with development teams (both internally and externally) in the implementation of SEO recommendations.
Conduct competitive research and analysis and synthesise those findings into actionable recommendations for clients.
Perform keyword research to help inform content strategy and identify opportunities for enhanced content on a specific topic.
Keep abreast of search engine algorithm updates and integrated marketing trends.
PERSONAL QUALITIES The following traits aren’t essential to be considered, but they will aid you in your journey at Megantic UK in being a successful SEO account executive.
1+ year working in SEO, eCommerce or digital marketing.
Knowledge of SEO fundamentals (Mostly technical, page markup & schema, URL structures, site crawl performance, server vs. client-side rendering, caching & CDNs, etc).
Demonstrated experience using and understanding SEO tools (such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, among others).
Strong analytical skills - able to navigate analytics data with ease and discover insights that lead to new opportunities.
Proficient experience in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and G Suite products.
Basic working knowledge of HTML & CSS to speak effectively with developers.
